Rights and obligations of users

If you wish to contribute to the USoft community, you must register as a user. Unregistered users can use the community as readers but are not permitted to post contributions.

By your use of the USoft community, whether as a registered user or an unregistered user, you indicate that you have read and agreed to these Terms of Use. USoft B.V. (hereinafter USoft) has the right to change these terms and conditions without notice.

Contributions from users are not read or approved by USoft prior to posting. However, after posting they are reviewed by one of the moderators. If it is necessary to adjust the contribution, one of the moderators will contact the user. This may be if the message is not correct or in violation of the terms of use.

Re-use of contributions

By using the USoft community, you give USoft the irrevocable power of attorney to use your contribution, once posted, for use on the community or USoft's website without restriction or cost. USoft is under no obligation to name the author or their username when publishing any contribution.

Parties other than USoft are not permitted to copy, edit or publish contributions to the USoft community (including by framing and/or hyperlinking) without permission from the user or from USoft as their designee. Nor are parties other than USoft, including operators of other websites, permitted to publish (including through frame and/or hyperlinks) summaries or overviews of contributions to the USoft community without permission from USoft.

Liability and applicable law

USoft is not liable for the consequences, legal or otherwise, of your activities on the USoft community, whether in the Netherlands or abroad.

USoft further excludes all liability for direct or indirect damage suffered by users or third parties, in any form whatsoever, arising from or in any way related to the use or content of the USoft community or the (temporary) inability to use and/or consult the forum.

The USoft community is managed by USoft. Any legal disputes arising from the forum are governed by Dutch law.

Any activities that are punishable and/or unlawful under Dutch law are considered a violation of these terms and conditions. However, this may also apply to activities that are punishable and/or unlawful under legal provisions outside the Netherlands, for example in the country where you or the person to whom a communication is addressed resides or stays.

By using the USoft community, you accept the obligation to indemnify USoft in the event that USoft is held liable (judicially or otherwise) for damage suffered by third parties, and/or in the event that USoft incurs costs as a result or otherwise suffers direct or indirect damage, in any form, as a result of any breach by you of these terms and conditions.

Personal Password

To prevent unauthorized access to the USoft community, a user registering with USoft will receive an email with a link to create a personal password. Posting a contribution is not possible until the password is created. As a user, you must keep your personal password carefully and keep it confidential.

If you suspect that your personal password is or may be known to an unauthorized third party, you must notify USoft immediately at community@usoft.com. You may create a new password yourself.

You provide personal information to USoft when you register as a participant in the USoft community, when you post contributions, and when you email us. We collect this information to enable you to use the forum, to administer and optimize the forum, to send you your password, and to contact you about your contribution if necessary.

We may also use your personal information to inform you or keep you informed of other USoft activities, products, and services, including sending you our email newsletter. If you do not wish to receive this information or our e-mail newsletter, please let us know at community@usoft.com.

USoft will not disclose your personal information to any third party, except if and to the extent USoft is required to do so by law or court order.
