Stopping a Web Benchmark recording

To end a recording, click Stop:

and then:

• If you are happy with the recording and want to keep it, click Save and give the recording a test name:

• If you want to discard the recording, click Reset:

Resetting (the last option above) allows you to click Record once again and start over, if necessary:

Stopping a playback session

In Web Benchmark, you can stop a recording, but you cannot stop or pause a playback session started with Play test:

before it completes. You can, however, stop or pause a playback session started with Run profiler:

This is done by using the Run console (see the article on "Running a profiler” for details) instead of using the Stop icon:

You can also use the Stop icon to abort a step-by-step playback session that you started with Play step:
