Further improved deployment versatility
The possibilities to deploy a software solution are nearly limitless. And with the addition of Linux support in USoft 10.1, you can now reap the benefits of the deployment configuration that best suits your needs. From traditional environments with different operating systems to containerized environments, your USoft solution can now run on it
Customized application UI
One of the advantages of the USoft platform is that an application is generated for you, while you’re creating your data model. In USoft 10.1 we have enhanced and improved the options to create beautiful web applications with ease. Web pages can now be based on your own templates, including your custom UI and UX, using the latest toolkits such as Bootstrap 5. The templates reduce the time required to create your web pages significantly.
A fresh look & feel
All components of the USoft platform have been given a fresh, modern look and feel. This new look and feel aligns with the look and feel of the platform, both Studio and App development. Both now have a blue theme and a fresh set of icons.
Easy-to-remember URLs
Your USoft 10.1 web application can now be set up with a simplified url, making your applications more accessible, and helping your users remember where to find your application.
Supported databases
Solutions developed using the USoft platform always rely on a database to store and retrieve information. In USoft 10.1 we have included full support for Microsoft’s latest addition to the database landscape: Azure SQL. Azure SQL comes as in provisioned and serverless instances, both of which are supported in USoft 10.1,
Improving and enhancing existing features
The rich feature set that is part of the USoft platform has been further improved and enhanced. To name a few: in addition to native support for XML, native support for JSON is added in USoft 10.1.
USoft offers the use of components written in various different languages, C# for example. In USoft 10.1 the underlying .Net framework is renewed, and additional languages, like XSL-T, VB, and Jscript are now supported. These components can be based on NuGets, which are now even easier to install.
