Can we upgrade the USoft ‘runtime’ on our application servers from 10.0.1 to 10.1.1 without having to redeploy the existing applications (which were created in 10.0.1)? Or will that cause problems?

I’ve checked with engineering, the conclusion is that if you install 10.1 you don't need to regenerate your 10.0 flat-files and redeploying. As soon as you make adjustments to the repository itself (possibly use the new columns), you will have to create and deliver new flat files. But just going from 10.0 to 10.1 doesn't require regenerating flat-files with 10.1 or re-deployment.
Thanks for the info, Dara. Does that also apply to the service framework servers, or will those need a new build in U10.1 first?

The Service Framework services do not need redeployment. USoft 10.1 rerout mapping features have been added, so if you want to use that feature, you need to republish your servers. More on reroute mappings:
